ABOUT PRODUCT:

Amygdala from Latin meaning ‘almond’. 

Our research focuses on manual skill as a conscious act leading to material's state change. 

In ancient times, rocks and stones intentionally scraped - Amygdalae - became the first long-lasting and multi-use artifacts, marking the beginning of design, adaptation and cultural transmission. 

AMYGDALA CUTLERY originates from this kind of act and develops matching our nowadays needs.

PRODUCTION:

Each piece is unique and made entirely by hand.  The irregular texture created during the molding stage will lead to an unrepeatable pattern.
